Simpatia

 I believe I’ll always 

have a heartbeat 

for simpatia.

Why?

Well, this simple Spanish

 word for empathy 

perfectly describes 

my hopes for the way 

we journey alongside 

one another.

It stands for: 

'Accord + harmony within 

relationships + society.'

It fosters peace + the 

well-being of the whole.

And this kind of 

connectedness is the 

very best kind, ‘eh?

It’s a sort of 

social communion, 

I think.

And given the 

unfortunate fractures 

in the world today, 

we ALL need it.

 

We all desperately 

need simpatia.
