Dog Days Night
Ever have
one of “those” days?
The no lollipops, smiles, unicorns
or puppies kind of days.
When there are no warm
fuzzies to be found.
And it feels like a
dog days night because
the dog’s howling like a wolf.
You’re spitting + sputtering
under your breath while
you’re sliding uncomfortably
underneath your duvet.
Ever have one of those
yucky, unproductive days?
I have.
And it
doesn’t feel good.
It
doesn’t feel right, either.
After all, we were born
to be productive.
And we were born to live
our lives in a fruitful way.
So now that I got that
off my chest, it’s time to crack on!

The GOC
There’s a whole lotta
digital noise out there.
Digital ‘noise’?
Is there such a thing?
In the technological age
we live in, there is.
And it’s loud.
(The volume continues to
slide upwards, as well.)
Every one wants to be
heard inside the GOC
(Global Online Community).
So how do we keep our
honest thoughts, opinions
and points-of-view in check?
Through quiet, kindly,
respectful + friendly discourse.
I think this is the way to
engage in our digital world.
If we can function like this,
we’ll be able to keep
the ‘noise’ down.
AND become an asset to the GOC.

(Pronounced: nyoo-ta)
It’s Swedish + it’s a verb.
It means:
‘To enjoy deeply + intensely.
To appreciate profoundly.
To revel in life.’
And there’s no real equivalent
in the English language.
What a fun find.
I relish discovering
unique words to better
express myself.
I also think we could all
benefit from practicing
Njuta.
Because, if we experienced
this kind of inner joy
